Choosing the right searches
Keywords, filters and organisation: best practices for clean, useful lists.

Phrase the keyword
- Use the term your customers would type in Maps, in the singular: "bakery" rather than "high-quality artisan bakeries".
- One activity per extraction: two related trades deserve two extractions, kept in the same project.
- Test on a few areas first to check that the categories returned are relevant.
Filter at the source
- "With a website only" targets the records enrichment can complete.
- Target categories remove noise: a "pizza" search can bring back supermarkets.
- A minimum rating or review count highlights active businesses.
Avoid processing the same records twice
In Leads, the "Already in a list" and "Already in a project" exclusions isolate the records still to be handled. Save this filter as a view to find it in one click.
