Your first extraction
The full walkthrough: create the extraction, allow collection, start it and find your leads.

Create the extraction
- 1Open Extractions in the menu, then click "New extraction".
- 2Give it a name you will recognise later, for example "Plumbers Texas, September".
- 3Enter the keyword as you would type it in Maps: "plumber", "restaurant", "real estate agency".
- 4Choose the country, then the coverage: "Selected areas" to tick regions or states, or "Whole country" if your plan allows it.
- 5Optionally, choose the project and list that will receive the records.
- 6Check the number of "Generated searches", then click "Create extraction".
Start the collection
On the extraction page, click "Start extraction". Before the very first collection, ScrapLift asks you to allow the collection of public business information: click "Accept and continue".
The extraction then shows "Waiting for a server", then "Running" as soon as a collection server is free.
Find your leads
The extraction page shows the searches processed, the leads found and any errors. The "View leads" button opens the imported records, which you also find in Leads and in the chosen list.
